Graduated from the Medical College of Ain Shams University
in 1990, and earned Medical Degree in Ophthalmology in
1995. Specialties include cornea and external disease, Excimer laser and Refractive Surgery
. Received a Fellowship on Refractive surgery and
Strabismus surgery
Published research projects in local
and international publications. Research projects in the
field of Refractive surgery were accepted for scientific
presentations at American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO),
Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO),
Pan Arab African Congress of Ophthalmology, Egyptian Ophthalmological
Society, and Saudi Ophthalmological Society.
A very important research project and contribution in
the field of refractive surgery was undertaken on the
advantages of LASEK over LASIK, and was
presented at the annual meeting of the American Academy
of Ophthalmology in 2004 held in New Orleans, LA, USA.
Another important research project and contribution in
the field of refractive surgery was undertaken on the
advantages of LASEK over PRK, and was presented at the
annual meeting of the ARVO in 2004 held in Forte
Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
